On May 15, 2015, the "National Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on May 15 the “National Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products” was 198.15, down 0.88 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national wholesale agricultural product markets was 18.82 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 162.95), up 0.5% from yesterday;

Beef was 53.90 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton was 49.57 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday;

Eggs were 7.47 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 14.68 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.45 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 192.20), up 0.9% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 6.59 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.93 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday;

Common carp was 13.43 yuan/kg, up 1.8% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 7.04 yuan/kg, up 1.0% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 26.99 yuan/kg, down 1.9% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties key monitored at domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: Kyoho grapes, scallions, garlic, lotus root and onions, with increases of 3.4%, 2.8%, 2.8%, 2.7% and 2.4% respectively; the top five price decreases were: watermelon, pineapple, largehead hairtail, mandarin orange and Chinese chives, with decreases of 3.9%, 3.5%, 1.9%, 1.8% and 1.7% respectively.
