Smart grain depots safeguard the security of central grain reserves

Central grain reserves are an important material means for the state to regulate the grain market, and an important strategic material related to national security and the lifeline of the national economy. As a dispatched agency of Sinograin, the Xi'an Branch of Sinograin governs the central reserve grain and oil and the depots directly under central grain reserves in Shaanxi Province and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

In 2014, the Xi'an Branch of Sinograin began advancing the construction of smart grain depots, and the smart construction of the first batch of 7 depots directly under central grain reserves was completed and put into operation. The smart grain depot system includes five systems: smart inbound and outbound warehousing, remote monitoring of grain conditions, online quantity monitoring, smart ventilation, and smart controlled atmosphere.

⟦NL> Through the construction of smart grain depots, it is possible to carry out all-round online dynamic remote monitoring of the people, finances, materials, and grain purchase, sales, allocation, and storage of central reserve grain depots, to achieve full-coverage supervision of all business and all process links of central grain reserve management, to strengthen central grain reserve management more strictly and efficiently, and to ensure the storage security and good quality of central grain reserves. In 2015, the Xi'an Branch of Sinograin will comprehensively raise the level of smart grain depot construction in its jurisdiction, arrange for all depots directly under central grain reserves in its jurisdiction to implement smart grain depot construction, achieve full coverage of smart management, and better serve grain circulation and national grain macro-control in the two provinces and regions of Shaanxi and Ningxia.
