In Longyan City, Zhang Taolin and his delegation visited Taipin Cherry Blossom Tea Garden, Hongding Farm, and the flower base of Chen Jincai, a new-type professional farmer in Xishan Village, to learn about the cultivation of new-type professional farmers. Through city-wide advancement of new-type professional farmer cultivation, Longyan City has already certified more than 1,000 new-type professional farmers and issued support policies such as special subsidies and discounted loans. Zhang Taolin pointed out that this year the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance will officially launch and implement the new-type professional farmer cultivation project, establish a cultivation system integrating “education and training, certification management, and policy support”, integrate the modern agricultural industrial technology system, the agricultural technology extension system, and the farmer training system, and use information-based means to connect experts, agricultural technology extension personnel, and new-type professional farmers to jointly develop modern agriculture.
During the research, Zhang Taolin also carefully asked about the loan and insurance situations of cooperative leaders and large specialized households, and specifically went to the Shaxian Financial Service Center to learn about the situation.
