November 9, 2015 National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index Week-on-Week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on November 9 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 192.01, up 0.35 points from last Friday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 191.23, up 0.49 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural products wholesale markets was 22.54 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 175.46), up 0.2% from last Friday;

Beef 54.46 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from last Friday;

Mutton 46.59 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Friday;

Eggs 7.80 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken 14.79 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.28 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 180.59), up 2.2% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 4.92 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.39 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from last Friday;

Common carp 12.34 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from last Friday;

Silver carp 7.10 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from last Friday;

Largehead hairtail 28.75 yuan/kg, flat compared with last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties of fresh and live agricultural products key monitored at domestic wholesale markets, compared with last Friday the top five price increases were: spinach, cucumber, rapeseed, Chinese chives and eggplant, with increases of 10.6%, 9.5%, 9.5%, 9.1% and 4.9% respectively; the top five price decreases were: pineapple, carrot, white radish, celery and Fuji apple, with decreases of 6.4%, 5.0%, 1.8%, 1.4% and 0.9% respectively.
