The flower scape rises above the leaves, with a rose-red base color; the petals taper at the base and flare at the corners, tightly pointed, thick with a pouch, fleshy and smooth. The main petal is held in an upward-covering position, the lateral sepals form a straight-line shoulder with a slight droop, the column is round, with a large Liu Hai (bang) lip; the lip surface has a large patch of bright red markings. The flower holds well, with a rich fragrance.
