Because of its rich variation, over several years of cultivation and observation, Sanjiang Qidie has produced everything from two-star butterfly to seven-star butterfly forms; even more remarkable is that a single scape can carry two or three forms, each flower exotic and butterfly-like. The exotics of Sanjiang Qidie are mainly shown in the flower's main petal and the column petals, while the side petals hold firmly to a single-character-shoulder shape, spreading flat and gracefully with a complex color and an air of being about to fly, condensing through constant change into an aesthetic theme -- dancing and fluttering, radiant with charm.
Sanjiang Qidie has an aesthetic appeal of both change and constancy, a clear and subtle fragrance, arching leaves with good elasticity, and blooms of 1 to 3 flowers; the plant has strong vitality and a short growth cycle for its seedlings, making it very easy to cultivate. It is an excellent variety of orchid for the general public's aesthetic pursuit of change.
