Characteristics: The leaves are medium in length, with deep grooves; the veins and leaf blades appear stiff, slanting upright and curved. New shoots emerge white-green with speckles, short and rounded. It blooms in late winter and early spring, with 2 to 3 flowers per scape, opening slowly. The petals are white-green, round and thick. The lip is thick and hard, fully fleshy. The purplish-red spots on the petals and lip sketch out an aged, doddering face, like a long-lived elder, reminding one of the golden words "Blessings as vast as the East Sea, longevity as enduring as the Southern Mountains."
