This is a new odd-flowered variety of cold orchid (Cymbidium kanran). The sepals are slender and bright green, slightly swept backward; the petals and lip have transformed into tongues, with three tongues having a white base and red spots, the tongue tips curling backward, and the side lobes all alike. Each flower looks exactly the same, the flowers are large and evenly arranged, and the leaves are slender, soft and graceful.
