The plant has broad leaves that droop half-way and sway with a trailing motion. The flower scape rises above the leaves and bears 3-4 flowers. The flower form is large, with a glutinous texture and thick, spectacular petals. The petals are pure white with many strands of red veins, and the lip has large, bold, brilliantly colored blotches that are delightfully refreshing. The overall plant, with its leaf and flower form, has a strong and imposing character, making it a beloved favorite. It has won bronze awards at both the 7th and 13th National Orchid Exhibitions, as well as gold and silver awards at local orchid shows.
