Characteristics: Yitian Qidie is a fine-leaf Lianban orchid. The leaves are about 20 cm tall and about 0.4 cm wide, delicate and nimble. The three outer petals are purplish red, of willow-leaf petal type; the column is mutated, and the inner petals become butterfly-like, transforming into lip petals and increasing in number. They become three-star butterflies, four-star butterflies, five-star butterflies, and at maximum seven-star butterflies, with vivid red spots. This flower combines exotic form, butterfly form, and color in one, and is a rare and excellent variety among Lianban orchid exotic butterfly flowers. Its flower is outstanding among high-grade lip petals; the five inner butterfly petals (sometimes three or seven) all transform into bright lip petals, with clear contrast and evenly arranged surface, as if crafted by heavenly skill.
Its inner petals have completely transformed into butterfly-like form, and the petal shape opens widely, with butterfly colors blooming in profusion, exceptionally gorgeous. Even more exquisite is that its outer petals are slender and elegant, all reflexed backward, like colorful ribbons lightly raised in the wind, full of movement. In the morphology of the whole flower, it is just like a dancing colorful butterfly, and also like a fairy in colorful garments, flying upward against the wind, with colorful ribbons lightly raised.
