Semi-erect leaves, new buds purplish red, with a purplish red blush at the tips of newly emerging leaves. Strong plants have leaves 25 to 27 cm long and 0.8 cm wide, with dark green leaf color and a semi-drooping leaf posture. The flower stalk is purplish red, and the scape is tall. The inner three petals are completely symmetrical, with bright color markings on a white-green background. The outer three petals each have a purplish vein stripe in the middle. The column changes from pale yellow to silvery white as the flower opens. The flower is large and rich in color, representing the three-lipped stamen-like butterfly type produced in Zhoushan, and is a top-grade among butterfly flowers.
