High-temperature-tolerant new shiitake variety Jinxi No. 1 successfully demonstrated and promoted in Shaanxi

It is understood that Shaanxi Jinxi Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd. was established in 2010, located in Yankou Town, Xixiang County, Hanzhong City, and specializes in bag-cultivated shiitake cultivation, product processing and sales. In recent years, the company has worked hard to develop new varieties, providing scientific and technological support for industrial progress. In August 2015, the company's project "Breeding of the High-temperature-tolerant New Shiitake Variety 'Jinxi No. 1' and Supporting Technology Research" passed the scientific and technological achievement evaluation organized by the Hanzhong Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. In addition, on the basis of more than 100 trials, the company, together with technical consultant Xie Haibin, completed regional trials and demonstration and promotion work for new bag-cultivated shiitake varieties. Within the area of Xixiang County, demonstration and promotion of the bred new shiitake varieties were carried out, adopting the model of "unified spawn supply, unified cultivation and management technology," cumulatively providing 200,000 bags of cultivation spawn to large growers in Shahe, Yankou, Luozhen, Baimianxia, Chazhen, Gaochuan, Wuliba and other places, producing 6 million bags of fungus logs, establishing 2 bag-cultivated shiitake production demonstration areas, covering about 10,000 farmers in 7 townships of the county and surrounding counties and districts.

The results of the demonstration and promotion of the new shiitake variety show that the average yield of the new variety is 0.8757 kg per bag, the biological conversion rate reaches 79.61%, and the average yield per mu reaches 7005.6 kg. Compared with the control variety, the shiitake yield per mu increased by 955.1 kg, an increase of 13.56%.
