Xing County, Shanxi Delegation Visits Xixia, Henan to Study the Edible Fungi Industry
Recently, Xing County in Luliang City, Shanxi Province organized a delegation to go deep into Xixia County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, to conduct an on-site study visit regarding the development of the local edible fungi industry. The edible fungi industry is an industry scientifically planned by the Xing County Party Committee and County Government to help farmers escape poverty and increase income, but due to objective factors such as poor technology, a late start and limited experience, the development of the edible fungi industry in Xing County has lagged relatively behind. The purpose of this delegation organized by Xing County was to make this industry that enriches the people bigger and stronger, further raise the technical level of edible fungi cultivation, enable ordinary people to increase both income and output, and obtain greater benefits. Proceeding from reality, the county government decided to organize a delegation to go deep into Xixia County, Henan Province, for a study visit.
During the visit, the delegation visited and studied on site the morel base of the Xixia County Edible Fungi Research Institute, Jiajiabao Food Co., Ltd., Xianghua Food and Beverage Co., Ltd., and Henan Funiu Mountain Baijunyuan Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd., among other places. The inspectors learned in detail about the local shiitake cultivation scale, standardized base construction, farmers' production and operation, deep processing of products, marketing and other conditions, carefully observed the edible fungi cultivation greenhouses and deep processing procedures, and held in-depth exchanges with growers and personnel from processing enterprises, learning technology and drawing on experience, truly experiencing the gratifying changes brought by the scaled development of the edible fungi industry.
At the symposium, the delegation held interactive exchanges on edible fungi industry technology, economic operation, income growth, development prospects and other matters, discussing their impressions and views. Through the inspection of the edible fungi industry in Xixia County, everyone said they had benefited greatly, not only broadening their horizons, raising their awareness and seeing their shortcomings, but also establishing the concept of running edible fungi with the methods used to run industry, and increasing their confidence in developing the edible fungi industry. After returning, they will draw on Xixia's advanced edible fungi production experience, continuously improve the economic benefits of the edible fungi industry, promote farmers' income growth and output increase, and further expand the results of industrial poverty alleviation.
