Where do order-grown celery come from? The marriage of farmers and enterprises provides the answer

In the deep winter, the weather is bitterly cold, yet the vegetable base of the Yuncai Planting Professional Cooperative in Jinpu Town, Runan County is bustling with people. Everyone is digging up and loading celery, busy with great enthusiasm. Looking at the vigorously growing celery in the vegetable greenhouses, cooperative chairman Guan Yuncai wore a happy smile on his face.

It is reported that the Runan County Yuncai Planting Professional Cooperative was founded in 2015, growing celery, shepherd's purse, scallion seedlings, Shanghai bok choy and other green vegetables on 500 mu, including an annual output of 5 million jin of large western celery and small fragrant celery, with 3 seasons planted a year, driving employment for more than 100 nearby villagers, with more than 100 farmer households joining the cooperative, and each household increasing annual income by more than 3,000 yuan.

The biggest feature of the Yuncai Planting Professional Cooperative is the combination of farmers and enterprises. It belongs to order agriculture, has a relatively complete back-end guarantee, and has successfully formed a marriage with Henan Synear Group, becoming one of Synear Group's largest celery supply bases nationwide, and also Henan's third Synear Food vegetable base, shouldering the important task of supplying 8 million jin of celery annually. According to Guan Yuncai, his next step will be to expand 200 greenhouses, continue integrating resources, and strive to build Henan's largest characteristic celery production base.
