This variety is a new-and-old-type multi-colored flower of Jianlan (Cymbidium ensifolium), and its flower quality surpasses similar varieties such as Qingshan and Caifeng. It is also relatively scarce in quantity and worth cultivating and collecting. Introduction by the person who named this flower: several years ago it was circulated on the market under the name 'Caifeng'. On one occasion, a pot of Caifeng at home and this flower bloomed at the same time, and it was found that this flower differed from Caifeng, with flower quality surpassing Caifeng; in flower shape and color contrast it is unique, and the plant form gives the impression of being relatively upright, with leaves slightly slanted and spreading flat rather than bending or drooping, and the leaf tips showing a dew-bearing shape. The flowers rise above the foliage, the stem is a thin stem, the flower stem is straight and gracefully upright, contrasting with the leaf material to bring out the best in each other!! It was later named Hanjiang Chunse.
It was selected and named by Mr. Zheng Liyong of "Hanjiang Orchid House"; this line of flowers was at the time mixed in with Caifeng and circulated on the market, and after flowering Mr. Zheng accidentally discovered that the flower quality was very different from the traditional Caifeng, and after multiple stable rebloomings it was formally named; The overall plant form is relatively upright, the leaves are slightly slanted, spreading flat rather than bending or drooping, and the leaf tips are in a dew-receiving shape. First bright then dark with translucent variegation; the flowers are large and rise above the foliage, jade-white in substance, with a fine lamp-wick-like thin stem, and the flower stem is straight; the flowers are about 6CM large, and the more common flower form is: the outer three petals have a white base inlaid with a green compound rim edge, with few red sandy flecks, and the contrast is extremely strong, making it the foremost among compound-rim flowers in Sijilan (Cymbidium ensifolium). There is also a relatively small number of flower forms with a white base inlaid with a dark green edge, and the central vein also inlaid with green striped green-spot striped flower art. The expression of this leaf variegation is a first-bright then stable central-spot variegation.
