This plant is a strange-flower type Cold Orchid (Cymbidium kanran), a purple-stemmed sushi (pure-centered) strange flower that blooms in winter, produced at the southern foot of the Daiyun Mountains in Fujian. The sepals, petals, and lip are all emerald green, edged with white. Its uniqueness lies in: the sepals are polymorphic, some wavy and curved as if flying, some with double-curled margins in the middle, some slanting upward like arrows; the petals are polymorphic, either short and small, turning and tilting up like a dragon...
Its uniqueness lies in: the sepals are polymorphic, some wavy and curved as if flying, some with double-curled margins in the middle, some slanting upward like arrows; the petals are polymorphic, either short and small, turning and tilting up like a dragon, or with blunt rounded tips almost as long as the sepals; the lip is green; the white column and anther cap have strangely transformed into a small plum blossom that is a wonder among flowers; on the green scape there are also purple flower stalks. The main reason for the strange transformation is that the plant's leaves are sprinkled with fine crystal spots, and each part of the floral organs is also inlaid with crystal spots. It may be a promising candidate for a fully strange flower. This orchid is a broad-leaved Cold Orchid. The plant and leaves are robust, the leaf color is yellow-green, the leaf surface is full of luster, the leaf veins are obviously raised at the back, and the leaf teeth are thick and sharp.
