The leaves are 20-30CM long and about 0.6CM wide, with a fine, glutinous and glossy leaf texture, semi-pendant leaves, and relatively fewer leaves than other Cymbidium lianban, generally 5, with twisted leaf tips; the young shoots are purplish red, and the color remains basically unchanged from emergence to opening. After the young shoots of this variety open, fine red lines appear along the leaf margins of the new leaves; if the seedlings are plump from water and fertilizer, red patches will appear on the leaves, but the edges of the patches are not very distinct.
The sepals and petals of the flower are yellow with a red tint, and the main veins have obvious red lines; the lip is white, relatively round and wide, and the two petals are lip-like, with the three lips symmetrically arranged in a pinzi shape, basically uniform and equal in size, bearing red U-shaped spot rings on them.
