Introduction and Appreciation Highlights of the Chunlan 'Gaiyihe' Cultivar
In 1989, Zhao Yinquan of Sanshe Village, Lizhu Town, Shaoxing County, discovered it on Shandao in Zhenhai Village; Li Zhiting cultivated and named it. Broad, dark, semi-erect leaves; the flower scape is relatively tall; the three outer petals are short and round with thick substance, contracted at the base with rounded angles; the holding petals are short and round; the lip is large and round, with a ingot-shaped vermilion patch in the center. Delicate fragrance. It is an excellent cultivar among lotus-petal flowers.
