Introduction to the Peixian cymbidium variety and appreciation of its characteristics

Petal type: official-rank narcissus petal of the green-shell class. History: selected in the Jiashen year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty by Sun Peixian of Shanghai. Characteristics: the three outer petals are large-headed and lotus-shaped, with a shallow silkworm-moth pouch and a large liu-hai tongue; the flowering period is relatively long-lasting.
