In 2015, Huade County closely integrated with the construction of the “Ten Full Coverages” project. While improving the production and living conditions of farmers and herders, it focused on fostering momentum for industrial development, stepped up land transfer efforts, and relied on high-yield potato creation. With the aim of high yield, high quality, increased production, and increased income, and with the industrialization and large-scale development of potatoes as its development goal, it actively adjusted the planting structure in accordance with the requirements of transforming the growth model, enhancing scientific and technological content, and achieving high quality, high yield, and high efficiency. It vigorously introduced new potato varieties and new technologies, improved the scientific and technological content of potato planting, and fully promoted the application of comprehensive yield-increasing technologies such as virus-free seed potatoes, pest and disease control, and soil testing and formula fertilization.

According to the agricultural department, the potatoes grew better in 2015 than in previous years. In a year of severe drought, two series of varieties harvested a total of 2,000 mu, including 1,500 mu of the Heshu series - He 15 and 500 mu of Shepody, with an average yield of 4,200 kg per mu, setting a record high.
