How is the Zhuangyuan Mei Cymbidium faberi? An introduction to its variety characteristics

Zhuangyuan Mei is a new plum-petal variety discovered in Zhoushan in the late 1990s. It was quite celebrated at the time, but unfortunately its floral quality is not stable enough and varies somewhat (it does not produce different flower types, only variation in how it blooms). Its bicolor coloring and compact plant form are also distinctive features (flowers with bicolor coloring often lack stability in floral quality). When the plant is strong and blooms well, the petals are also quite broad and large.
