In the autumn and winter of 2015, the vegetable planting area was 37,785 mu, an increase of 3,901 mu over the same period of the previous year, a year-on-year increase of 11.5%. The sown area of melons and fruits was 2,608 mu, an increase of 882 mu over the previous year, a year-on-year increase of 51.1%.

In livestock production, Jingdong County takes increasing efficiency as its means, science and technology as its lever, and increasing farmers' income as its core, developing distinctive livestock industries internally and broadening sales channels externally, responding to various difficulties, mobilizing farmers' enthusiasm for breeding, and achieving a development trend of steady growth in the operation of the livestock economy under the new normal. In 2015, Jingdong County achieved a total output value of 1,309.65 million yuan in livestock husbandry, an increase of 81.95 million yuan over the same period of the previous year, a growth of 6.4% calculated at comparable prices.
