What kind of orchid is Chaotian He? Introduction to the Cymbidium ensifolium variety Chaotian He
Origin: Sichuan/Emei. Content: This is the new Emei variety Chaotian He, a yellow lotus-petal orchid that tends to open facing upward. Its features are very thick, hard petals, half-open (never opening fully), extremely fragrant (the scent can be noticed from far away), blooms frequently but produces few shoots; the shortcoming of this flower is the poor proportion of the outer petals (not wide enough), otherwise it would be another star.
