Introduction to the variety characteristics of Cymbidium goeringii 'Oriental Pearl'
Orchids0 views
Cymbidium goeringii 'Oriental Pearl' is a new type of ruidie (double-flowered form with a distinctive pistil). The leaves grow to about 25 cm tall, and the leaf variegation on the plant is excellent; when the leaf variegation appears, the plant becomes shorter. The flowers are large, with a snow-white base color and striking red spots and patches, creating strong contrast. It is a rather distinctive new flower. This plant produces new growths well, but has few roots; usually a single growth has only one root, which is quite an oddity.
