Introduction to the Characteristics of the Wumeng White Cymbidium goeringii Variety

Wumeng Baicai was discovered in Guizhou. Its leaves grow upright at a slant, and mature plants generally reach 25-30 cm in height. The leaf blades are slender, and the pseudobulbs are not large, but it blooms easily and has a high sprouting rate. The Wumeng Baicai flower stems are upright, and the fragrance is rich. The three outer sepals are of the lotus type with contracted bases and flared tips, and the petals are completely petaloid. The pure white lip is adorned with velvety purplish-red patches, making it dazzlingly brilliant, and large plants readily produce leaf buds (foliar petaloids).
