A top-grade red plain-colored flower variety of Sijilan (Cymbidium ensifolium). Originating from Mount Emei in Sichuan, the plant is relatively small in size, with relatively thin leaves, an uneven leaf surface that often shows wavy patterns, and a strong waxy texture on the leaves. The flowers rise above the foliage, the lip is so red it borders on purple, and each stem bears 2-6 flowers. With its purple-red plain lip, the overall flower appearance and posture convey a sense of great red and purple splendor and good fortune! The petals and the three outer sepals carry colored blocks and red color halos, the flower stems are green, the flower color contrast is vivid, and the colors are extremely brilliant. The flower form opens consistently, it is fragrant, and it is the top grade among all red plain-colored flowers. Very few exist at present, making it a rare new variety of Sijilan capable of being passed down through generations. Young plants sometimes show the "dragon raising its head" phenomenon. The most distinctive feature of this plant is the obvious fine purple threads on the sheath of new shoots, which are especially pronounced along the main vein. This is the main marker for identifying this plant.
