Cymbidium ensifolium 'Jinzhen Jinbian Yalan' Variety Introduction

Also known as Jinbian Yalan, its leaves have golden edges and grow upright. In Taiwan, China it is called Jinzhen, while in Guangdong it is called Yalan; it is a common Four Seasons Orchid, the flowers are very fragrant, the flowering rate is very high, and it also sprouts very readily.

Jinbian Yalan has relatively narrow leaves, a relatively small head, and slender leaf stalks, so it easily lodges. Its leaf shape resembles Daqing, but it is shorter and smaller than Daqing, with upright leaves and narrow blades. It is mainly produced in Guangdong and Fujian, and there are varieties such as golden-edged and silver-edged. It flowers frequently, the flowers are not large, but the fragrance is good.
