Cymbidium ensifolium 'Riyue Hong': Appreciation of the Fuchuan Red Flower Variety
The Fuchuan red flower originates from Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County, Guangxi. Its leaves are short and small, and its flower stems rise above the foliage. The outer petals are red throughout, the inner petals are white, and the petal tips are pink, creating a strong contrast between the inner and outer petals (I personally think this is the greatest highlight of this red flower; through the strong red-and-white contrast, the allure of the Cymbidium ensifolium red flower is even more pronounced, with rich colors and strong ornamental appeal. Perhaps some orchid enthusiasts think that because the inner petals are so lacking in red, it cannot be called a true red flower; here, it is simply a matter of every man to his own taste). The lip has many red spots of multiple colors. The lip shape is excellent. The flower holds well, and the color is stable.
