Xinjin Rouge---the most beautiful red-flowered variety among Chun Jian orchids, with large flowers, broad petals, and a strong fragrance. The leaves are broad and thick, with an elegant leaf shape. Each scape bears on average 2 to 3 flowers, occasionally 4 flowers. The flowers stand above the leaves, with well-proportioned petal shapes and color especially when the buds first open, they are dazzling and eye-catching at a glance.This flower is one of the most worthwhile color-flowered Chun Jian varieties to cultivate, with extremely high ornamental value.It was cultivated and discovered by Mr. Yang Youlun, a senior orchid grower and elder of the orchid community, at the Orchid Association of Xinjin County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. Xinjin Rouge first made its debut at the National Orchid Exhibition in Jinjiang in early 1993 and won a gold award! It later won numerous awards at many orchid exhibitions as well!
