In 2003, a seedling with red shoots was collected by the orchid collector Xue Yuan on Songlin Mountain in Shilong. It had three to five leaves, leaf length 30cm, leaf width 0.6cm, leaf color tender yellow-green, and leaf shape belonging to the soft arc type. When it produced flower shoots in 2008, they were yellow-red; when the buds were in the large row stage, it had yellow stems and yellow flower buds, with an inflorescence of 5-7 flowers. When open, the entire flower fully changes color to bright red and is golden and jade-like translucent. The lip is covered with a bright red blush. The open form is dignified and generous, and the color and form are stable and satisfactory across three bloomings. It belongs to the tender yellow jade-stem full-red su type, and is truly rare. This is not called hongsu!
