The leaves are semi-arching in posture, with new shoots slanting upright. The leaf color is green without gloss, the leaf texture is thick with shallow veins, showing wavy ridges (xinglong), and the leaf tips are blunt. New buds have a green base with purple-red veins, with 3 fully green sheaths. The flower scape is emerald green, with a red tinge at the nodes. The three outer petals have a narrow base, round tips and tightly rolled edges, forming a straight (one-character) shoulder; the substance is thick and glutinous. The silkworm-moth (can'e) lip petals are smooth and rounded, with purple-red veins on the inner side. The Liu Hai tongue has pinkish-red markings in the center. The flower form is regular, the flower color is clear emerald, pretty and elegant.
