Introduction to the Characteristics of the Dongpo Hexian Jianlan (Cymbidium ensifolium) Variety

A new Hexian variety: a new flower Hexian was bought at a high price in Dongpo District, Meishan, Sichuan. The Dongpo Hexian has taller, more upright leaves, a wider leaf blade, a more pronounced "fish belly" (swollen midsection), and a larger pseudobulb; when the plant is strong, the pseudobulb is about as thick as a thumb. It belongs to the large-plant type of the four-season flowering group. Personally, I feel its leaf material is closer to that of Muchuan Chengmei. The old Hexian variety, Muchuan Chengmei, and Dongpo Hexian give a feeling of sister flowers~~ The flowers of the old Hexian variety are closer to Muchuan Chengmei, while the leaf material of Muchuan Chengmei is closer to Dongpo Hexian~
