Reporters learned on the 28th from the National Grain Administration that the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Grain Administration, the Ministry of Finance, the Agricultural Development Bank of China and other departments recently launched the 2015 joint departmental spot inspection of the nationwide grain inventory check.

The various spot inspection working groups set out for the relevant provinces on the 26th to carry out the spot inspection work. The spot inspection will highlight a problem-oriented approach, focusing closely on various violations that may exist in the process of policy-driven grain procurement, storage and outbound sales.

According to the introduction, doing a good job in the joint spot inspection helps to test the effectiveness of grain inventory inspection work in key provinces and regions, get a clear picture of the true grain inventory situation, and ascertain the actual implementation of policies, which is of great significance for actively responding to public concerns, effectively implementing macroeconomic regulation, and safeguarding national food security.
