Introduction to the Characteristics and Care Methods of the Cymbidium ensifolium Variety 'Linglong He'

Linglong He is one of the rare true standard lotus-petal varieties among Cymbidium ensifolium: in 2000, it was collected and selected by Mr. He Miaoding, an orchid grower from Ningbo, in the Zhoushan Islands. The plant's leaves are inclined and upright, with a carp-belly shape and a slender base, medium-short leaf material, a compact plant form, and jade-green leaf color; it blooms standard true standard lotus-petal flowers, excellent in base taper, corner flare, and tight edging, with a bright red large round lip that does not curl back, yellow-green flower color, a glutinous and lustrous texture, and a dignified and elegant flower appearance! Its only shortcoming is that the flowers are a bit on the small side!
