Guanzi, in 1995, was collected by Ms. Yang Xianjin of Pengxing Orchid Nursery in Fujian in Gaodi Village, Juxi Town, Liancheng County, within the Meihua Mountain area of western Fujian. When brought down from the mountain, there were 5 large and small heads in total. Up to now, it still does not exceed 40 shoots. It was named by Rongrong, the owner of Yinlu Xuan and a friend of Ms. Yang Xianjin, taking the first character of Guanzhi Mountain, a famous mountain in Liancheng, as its meaning. The clump is elegant and beautiful, the leaf type is slender, semi-upright, leaf width 0.7CM, length about 30-40CM. It blooms around October, the flower stem is tall, rising greatly above the leaves. The flower color is joyful red and pleasant green, with brilliant sunset-like hues. Viewed as a whole, the flower is very dignified and graceful, the scape is tall, the flower is a narcissus petal, the petal texture is thick and solid, the petal color is clean, and there are two bright rose-red marks on the lip. It is a rare cold plum variety seldom seen in the orchid world to this day.
