What kind of orchid variety is the Four Seasons Imperial Plum Jianlan?

tomtsoi: The Plum Emperor of Hong Kong, China, seems to be called Imperial Plum in the mainland, possibly to distinguish it from Brother Zheng's Plum King. Last year I was fortunate enough to obtain three seedlings, which bloomed with a lotus-plum form. This year I divided too many, and the seedlings are weak. This is the late bloom produced by two plants in December, not as good as last year's bloom. Possibly because of the cold weather, the outer petals are not wide enough, and the edges are not tight enough...

This is the late bloom produced by two plants in December, not as good as last year's bloom. Possibly because of the cold weather, the outer petals are not wide enough, the edges are not tight enough, and the petal tips are slightly pointed. The column petals remain up to standard, with white heads and tightly clasped. Although this year's bloom is somewhat poorer, it is still not a bad specimen.
