June 8, 2015 "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with last week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on June 8 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 201.76, up 1.48 points from last Friday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 202.80, up 1.53 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at wholesale markets for agricultural products nationwide was 19.44 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 165.39), up 0.3% from last Friday;

Beef was 53.94 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from last Friday;

Mutton was 49.61 yuan/kg, up 1.8% from last Friday;

Eggs were 7.20 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken was 14.56 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.43 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 207.75), up 0.9% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 6.06 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.19 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from last Friday;

Common carp was 13.33 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from last Friday;

Silver carp was 6.98 yuan/kg, down 1.1% from last Friday;

Largehead hairtail was 28.00 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties of fresh and live agricultural products at wholesale markets nationwide under key monitoring, compared with last Friday the top five price increases were: cabbage, cauliflower, Welsh onion, lettuce and celtuce, with increases of 9.0%, 6.4%, 5.6%, 5.5% and 5.0% respectively; the top five price decreases were: watermelon, tomato, banana, pumpkin and winter melon, with decreases of 8.1%, 4.5%, 2.3%, 2.2% and 1.7% respectively.
