June 9, 2015 National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index Month-on-Month Rise and Fall

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on June 9 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 202.65, up 0.89 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 203.82, up 1.02 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 19.55 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 165.55), up 0.6% from yesterday;

Beef was 54.06 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton was 49.75 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday;

Eggs were 7.16 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 14.67 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.46 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 211.02), up 0.9% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 6.08 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.28 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

Common carp was 13.34 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 7.02 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 28.11 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market under key monitoring, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: spinach, lettuce, rapeseed greens, Chinese chives and Chinese cabbage, with increases of 5.5%, 4.4%, 4.4%, 3.9% and 3.7% respectively; the top five price decreases were: watermelon, yardlong beans, eggplant, garlic sprouts and green peppers, with decreases of 2.5%, 1.7%, 1.5%, 1.2% and 1.2% respectively.
