How can agricultural big data provide strong support for agricultural informatization?

The Second Agricultural Big Data Forum and the Annual Meeting of the Agricultural Big Data Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, hosted by the Agricultural Big Data Research Center of Shandong Agricultural University, the Guangdong Institute of Modern Agricultural Equipment and other units, was recently held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Participants held discussions on hot and cutting-edge topics such as agricultural informatization and big data, smart agriculture, big data and industrial transformation, and agricultural IoT and big data practices.

Experts believe that against the broader backdrop of "Internet Plus" driving comprehensive industrial transformation and upgrading, agriculture must also explore a path of integrated informatization development suited to its own characteristics. In particular, by consolidating foundations, innovating mechanisms and other means, it is necessary to achieve effective integration, processing and utilization of big data resources, find effective paths for rural e-commerce development, and provide strong support for agricultural modernization and informatization.
