History: In 2002, Pan Guolai collected it from Zhoushan, and in the spring of 2005 it bloomed again on a small grass with three leaves. Selected and named by Chen Jiang.
Characteristics: Flower form: the outer petals have rounded tips, semi-hard clasps, a large round tongue, and the color is tender green, with hidden red veins on the back of the petals. The flower appearance is dignified and elegant, the leaf shape is narrow and curved, arching, and the new shoots have prominent white tips.
Plant type: This grass is relatively narrow and is a rare new plum-petal flower.
In 2002, Pan Guolai found it in Zhoushan and Chen Jiang selected and named it in Ru'ao Town, Xinchang, Zhejiang. It is hailed as the best plum petal in Xinchang and is extremely rare. The flower is well-formed, with a round head and fine narrowing, a tall stem and level shoulders, and fine arching leaves. The leaves are fine and clean, the leaf posture is slanting and drooping, and the plant type is clear, elegant, and bright. The leaf shape is relatively narrow, the clasps are semi-hard, and the two clasp ends are slightly less than round and smooth; the large ruyi tongue has a concise and refreshing red patch on the tongue surface, the clasps and tongue are well balanced in tension and relaxation, and the center is round and neat; the outer petals are short and round, the petal tips are thick and substantial, the base narrows well, and the edges are properly tight; the shoulders are level, the bone strength is good, the flower holds well, the flower appearance is dignified and grand, and the overall petal shape is excellent. It is truly a superior flower among new plum-petal flowers of Chunlan. Unfortunately, the petal color appears aged, and the hidden red vein patterns on the petals are obvious, so that the petal texture is not fresh and bright enough. In addition, the column is relatively thick and often protrudes between the two clasps, slightly giving the impression of overwhelming the host.
