Expert comments: This variety was selected from wild Cymbidium lianpan in northwestern Yunnan. Lotus-type petals, with the three outer petals cupped. The flower color is golden yellow.
Originally named lotus-type yellow Cymbidium lianpan, the main and secondary petals are broad at the front and narrow at the back, with tightly rolled petal edges forming an obtuse angle. The petals have seven veins; the keel petals clasp together like a closed mussel shell, and the lip is round and broad, bearing a thick, heavy U-shaped red marking.
