According to the agricultural weather forecast issued by the National Meteorological Center on June 25, precipitation is expected to increase over the next week in China's Huang-Huai region, the southeastern part of the Northwest region, and southern Shanxi, among other places. There will be moderate rain in western and southern Huang-Huai and the southeastern part of the Northwest region, with heavy rain to rainstorms in some areas of western and southern Huang-Huai, which will be favorable for increasing and storing soil moisture, crop growth, and agricultural water storage.

In this regard, experts from the meteorological department suggest that all localities carry out intertillage and weeding in a timely manner, and apply topdressing at the appropriate time according to seedling conditions. Areas with relatively high rainfall should promptly clear ditches for drainage and remove excess moisture to dissipate soil moisture. Precipitation in most of North China and central-northern Shandong is still relatively low, and drought conditions in central Hebei and some areas of the Shandong Peninsula will continue or worsen. It is recommended to closely monitor changes in soil moisture and irrigate in a timely manner.

From June 23 to 25, moderate to heavy rain occurred in the southeastern part of the Northwest region, western and southern Huang-Huai, and southern Shanxi, with rainstorms in southeastern Shaanxi, central Henan, and northern Jiangsu-Anhui. Cumulative precipitation in most of the above areas was 30-100 mm, and soil moisture improved significantly. The drought was relieved in northwestern Henan and southern Shanxi, which is very favorable for the growth of dryland crops such as corn and cotton. Precipitation in central-northern Shanxi, most of Hebei, and central-northern Shandong was less than 15 mm, and drought continued in central Hebei and some areas of the Shandong Peninsula.
