Purchased in the summer of 2006 from an orchid grower in Chengdu, it is said to be a new variety discovered in the Mingshan area of Sichuan. The greatest characteristic of this flower is the clever joining of the shallow pouch (petals), which never opens a skylight; the outer petals arch and embrace powerfully, and the flower color is plain and pleasing to the eye. When purchased, the leaves were about 1 cm wide, and the plant height had dwarfed from 35 cm to about 20 cm, so the upright-leaf plant still stands out, and with good flower retention and sufficient bone strength, it gives a dignified yet elegant impression. I want to name the flower "Mingshan Fairy." A medium-to-short small grass-type orchid, with a graceful and flowing leaf posture, leaf width of about 1 cm, plant height of 20-35 cm, upright leaves.
