The transaction rate for mid-to-late indica rice produced in 2014 reached 37.03%

With the approval of the relevant state departments, the national temporary stored rice auction sales transaction held on June 30 concluded successfully. This transaction planned to sell 1,848,582 tons of rice, with an actual transaction volume of 170,465 tons and a transaction rate of 9.22%, of which: the planned sale of 493,852 tons of early indica rice from 2013 was fully unsold; the planned sale of 903,077 tons of mid-to-late indica rice from 2013 had an actual transaction volume of 3,205 tons, with a transaction rate of 0.35% and an average transaction price of 2,729 yuan/ton; the planned sale of 451,653 tons of mid-to-late indica rice from 2014 had an actual transaction volume of 167,260 tons, with a transaction rate of 37.03% and an average transaction price of 2,813 yuan/ton.
