In 1982, Huang Xiaojin of Hangzhou selected it at the Hangzhou flower market; it was dug up by a mountain farmer in Tonglu. The three outer sepals have long stems, round tips and tightly rolled edges, with spoon-shaped (ear-pick) petals and a large ruyi tongue; the red dots on the tongue are arranged in a triangular (pinzi) pattern. The flower color is pure green, the texture is glutinous, and it shows shell-shedding. The scape is tall, and the plant is as graceful and pure as carved green jade, hence the name. The leaves are semi-arching, narrow and slender, and glossy.
