Selected and bred around 1920 in Wuxi City. The leaves have yellow variegation, and the flowers bloom in the plum-form narcissus type. Among traditional famous orchids, it is the only variety that combines both floral artistry and petal form. It is a famous variety collected and preserved by Zhou Huangen of Shengzhou City, Zhejiang. The leaf posture is a mix of slanting upright and slanting drooping; new leaves are slightly upright, old leaves slant and droop, and leaf tips extend flat or in a dew-catching shape. Leaves can reach about 30 cm in length, outer leaves are 1 cm wide, and middle leaves are slender at 0.5 cm, appearing narrower than 'Cui Yipin'. The 'Golden-rimmed Jade' plant has a narrow base, shallow leaf grooves, and fine sharp serrations along the leaf margins. The outer leaf tips are bluntly pointed and dew-catching in shape, while the middle leaf tips are evenly pointed. The leaf color is light green, and the yellow marginal variegation is extremely fine, appearing as a late-emerging trait, intermittent, prone to scorched tips and scorched margins under strong light. The variegation color is also extremely unstable, often showing reversion. Its variegation appears relatively late, basically only after the plant has matured, and is mostly seen on old leaves. Old leaves often show more aged variegation color due to weakened growth vigor or scorched margins. The flower buds are quicksilver red, the ovary bracts are pale emerald green, the flower stalk is greenish white, and the nodes have red rings. The outer three petals are long-footed with large round heads, the main petal has tightly rolled margins, the side petals slightly sway, the heart petals are shallow cupped, the margins of the heart petals have white edges, and the inner tips of the heart petals have bright red dots. The center is upward-facing, the tongue is a Liu Hai tongue, and the red dots on the tongue are vivid and shaped like a yuanbao. The shoulders are level, it is a medium-sized flower, and the flower color is emerald green.
