This flower is a cream-yellow sumei (plain plum blossom form), with the outer petals slanting and twisting backward and curling. The petaloids (lip-side petals) are emulsified, forming a soft hooded pouch, and the color is bright and vivid. It has a golden Ruyi plain tongue (occasionally with two faint red dots). In 1998 it was collected from Mount Mingshan in Ya'an, and in 2003 a total of five seedlings were purchased, with the dragon-root seedlings still present. It was acquired at the Guiyang Orchid Expo.
