The flower stem is 5--6 cm tall, purplish red; on strong plants the leaves are 25--30 cm long, about 0.7 cm wide, the leaves upright, light green in color, glossy, thick and glutinous in texture, with fine marginal teeth, forming a deep "V" shape. The plant form is neat and graceful. The flower bud tip has a white head, the bud sheath is long with a hollow tip, and the color turns green layer by layer. The central column opens and closes in measure, the whole flower is exquisite and lovely, truly a fine small piece among the new plum-petal flowers of Cymbidium goeringii.
Discovered in 2003 by Mr. Hu Dafa of Xinchang in Dali, Ninghai.
In 2006 it re-flowered at Mr. Yuan Shigang's place in Shengzhou.
