Introduction and Appreciation of the Haixin Die Cymbidium faberi Variety

The Haixin Die Cymbidium faberi blooms beautifully when the flowers open well; the petal-like column wings (peng ban) are well transformed into a butterfly form and often come with outer butterfly petals too. However, sometimes it also often blooms with plain column petals, and its lack of stability in flower quality is its biggest shortcoming, though many Cymbidium faberi stamen butterflies (rui die) show this phenomenon.
