In a natural environment it can produce spring and autumn shoots. Cymbidium sinense has distinctive variegated plain flowers! The blooms are plain flowers with yellow-green blotched stripes (sometimes blooming as golden-yellow plain flowers)! The flowers are large and held above the leaves! The current blooms are very beautiful!
Golden Jadeite has a rather poor plant form: tall, with long, arching, drooping leaves; the new shoots carry blotched stripe variegation that later darkens. The variegation is of little significance.
But the flower color is stable, does not fade after blooming for a long time, and is not muddy. In this respect its performance is still quite good.
Another advantage is its outstanding sprouting rate, unmatched among Cymbidium sinense. In a natural environment, producing double shoots and spring and autumn shoots is its characteristic.

How to Distinguish Golden Jadeite from Baiyu Sujin

1. The two have different places of origin: Golden Jadeite is a wild-collected Cymbidium sinense from Guangxi, while Baiyu Sujin is a mutation of the traditional white Cymbidium sinense plain flower from Guangdong;

2. The two have different leaf material: Golden Jadeite has arching, drooping leaves, while Baiyu Sujin has obliquely upright leaves;

3. The variegation direction and color differ: Golden Jadeite has variegation that is bright first and then darkens, while Baiyu Sujin has blotched stripe variegation that does not darken later. Golden Jadeite's variegation color leans yellow, while Baiyu Sujin's variegation color leans white;

4. The flower shape differs: Golden Jadeite's lateral sepals have relatively flat shoulders, while Baiyu Sujin has triangular shoulders;

5. The flower color differs: Golden Jadeite is more stable than Baiyu Sujin and can mostly bloom in a more yellow color; the flowers do not age or change after blooming for a long time. Baiyu Sujin's petals are thinner, and its flower color, depending on the variegation condition, can often bloom as green flowers, and the flower color easily ages after blooming for a long time.

Looking at a single flower, there may be similarities, but with comprehensive blooming photos, it is very easy to tell the difference between the two.
